A practical builder across technology, infrastructure, enterprise, and community service.
From hands-on technology to infrastructure leadership
Shane Roddy’s professional path has been shaped by solving real operating problems: building and supporting systems, strengthening organizations, and connecting technology decisions to long-term business and community outcomes.
Today, he serves as a Member and Chief Technology & Infrastructure Officer of Praetorian Fund. His work includes technical diligence, infrastructure strategy, secure connectivity, partnerships, and the planning required to move complex opportunities toward execution.

Technology and enterprise
Shane founded EIT Services in 2019 after years of hands-on experience with computer systems and organizational technology. He built the company around a straightforward principle: technology should protect critical functions, remove operating friction, and help people accomplish meaningful work.
His broader entrepreneurial work explores infrastructure, business development, immersive media, responsible artificial intelligence, and platforms that make professional relationships more useful and accountable. Across these efforts, he favors durable systems and disciplined execution over novelty.
Earlier experience
Shane began his entrepreneurial career at 19, founding a company focused on cable and fiber-optic networking. In the years that followed, he built and grew his own businesses while helping lead and develop other IT companies, steadily expanding his experience across technology operations, infrastructure, leadership, and organizational growth.
Community service has remained a consistent part of that journey. Through longstanding involvement with nonprofit and civic organizations, Shane has continued to pair professional growth with a commitment to helping others and strengthening the communities around him.
Service and community
Outside commercial work, Shane contributes through nonprofit board and committee leadership, international humanitarian missions, school connectivity, technology donations, and civic participation in Chesapeake. He serves on the Chesapeake Land Bank Authority Citizen Advisory Committee and as a Board Member and Technology Chair of Montero Medical Missions.
He is also writing Rising Tide, a memoir about transformation, fatherhood, faith, responsibility, and building a legacy steady enough to lift others.
